Hannah Marie Rose was born at Touro Infirmary on September 26, 2007, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to her loving parents, Tenisha Scott and Jeremy Rose. From an early age, Hannah had a truly unique, determined, and independent identity, with a huge heart under that stylish, introverted, and tough / “tuff” exterior. She loved to travel (with Global Entry, of course), had a carefully curated taste in music, mastered an impressive repertoire of dance moves (if TikTok counts), and ensured that there were levels to her always impeccable scent. As a NOLA girl, she loved her city, but Hannah was always a beach baby at heart.
Be fearless in front of them with your ideas as many times as they’ll let you
She attended elementary school at St. Andrew the Apostle from pre-K3 through 7th Grade, where she was a member of the cross-country and basketball teams, while showing her acting chops in several theater club productions.

She was also a 2025 graduate of Cabrini High School, where she made significant contributions to several of the Crescents’ teams and clubs. A legendary force on the soccer field as a 3-year letterman, Hannah was known for being both a prolific scorer and a punishing defender. She also lettered in basketball as a freshman, softball as a senior, and as a manager for the Volleyball Team her Junior and Senior years. As a 4-year letterman in Track & Field, Hannah excelled in both individual sprints and on Regional and State-Qualifying relay teams.
2x Louisiana State Championship Bronze medalist in javelin
Yet, Hannah was an elite track and field athlete as a thrower, winning the shotput, discus, or javelin (usually all 3) at most meets. A 2x team Field MVP for the Crescents, she was also awarded the girls’ Field MVP in back-to-back years (2024 & 2025) at the District Championship meet, winning 1st in javelin, shotput, and discus, and a 2x Louisiana State Championship Bronze medalist.

Voted co-most athletic by her classmates as a senior, Hannah earned an athletic scholarship to Indiana Tech University after repeatedly setting and breaking the Crescent’s javelin record, while competing nationwide during her summers as a 2x AAU Junior Olympics Bronze Medalist and 2x AAU All-American for the Roadrunner and NOLA Rush track teams. She was expecting to break the freshman AND school records in javelin in just her first year with the team, with her sights set on winning the spring 2026 WHAC Conference Championship.
